Why Braided Fiber Cloth® for your communications

Redefining your every day carry

In the world of two-way radio communication, durability is paramount. Traditional resin materials, while functional, can often fall short under the rigors of daily use. Enter braided fiber, a revolutionary technology that’s redefining the standards of radio cable strength and longevity.

Protect your equipment with strength

Braided fiber cables are constructed by intertwining multiple strands of high-tensile fiber, creating a robust and flexible structure. This intricate weaving technique significantly enhances the cable’s tensile strength, tripling its durability compared to standard resin materials.

N•ear 360® Original

The N•ear 360® Original is our flagship earpiece, setting the standard for professional communication. Designed with a patented, contoured, ear-specific bend, it provides a precise, secure, and comfortable fit for extended wear.

What is the difference between our N•ear 360® earpieces?

12 Inch

The 12-inch cable emerges as the ideal choice for law enforcement officers who opt not to wear a Molly vest with a single side setup (Left earpiece, left speaker mic, or right earpiece, right speaker mic). If you prefer a high chest or open chest position for your PTT microphone with a single side setup, this is your best option. See the 22 inch option if you are using your PTT on one side and earpiece on the other.

22 Inch

The 22-inch cable stands out as the preferred choice for law enforcement officers who rely on a Molly vest and require additional slack for strategic cable positioning. Tailored to the specific needs of officers wearing Molly vests, this cable length ensures the flexibility necessary for optimal placement of communication devices.

48 Inch

The 48-inch cable emerges as the go-to choice for professionals in broadcasting, offering a generous length for versatile connectivity. Designed with the needs of broadcasters in mind, this cable ensures the freedom to move and connect to devices placed at a distance. (Only Available on Our Braided Fiber Earpiece line.)

Exceptional Clarity, Unmatched Comfort, and Built to Last

"I’ve been using the N-ear 360 Flexo earpiece for a few weeks now, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The audio clarity is crystal clear, making critical communications effortless even in high-noise environments. What truly sets the Flexo apart is the comfort—it is so lightweight and discreet that I genuinely forget I’m wearing it, even during long, 12-hour shifts. The flexible ear wire molds perfectly around the ear without slipping or creating pressure points. If you rely on clear, reliable, and comfortable continuous audio for work, the N-ear 360 Flexo is worth every single penny. Highly recommended!"

Great product

"Much better than the traditional acoustic tube. I used to get waxy build up wearing them. But with this I don't, I know it's been said, but it really does feel like you're not wearing anything at all. and the situational awareness you get is amazing, doesn't interfere at all. Not picking now, just wish they all came standard with a longer wire. But that's my personal preference"

Worth the price

"I use the braided version for law enforcement work, and it’s been a huge upgrade from the old plastic ear molds I used to run. It actually stays in my ear all shift, even with lots of movement, and I’m not constantly re‑seating it or worrying about the mold cracking. The sound is clear enough that I can keep the volume reasonable and still catch every transmission, and the braided cable feels tough and doesn’t tangle as much under my vest. For patrol and event work, this has become my go‑to earpiece. I also ordered an extra pair for my coworker and they love it"

Barely feel it there

"Great piece, can barely feel it, and it is also quite secure and won’t fall out."

Amazing

"I originally had the short regular one and it has worked perfect for a year plus. I ordered this because I recently moved my setup to an outer carrier and it has not disappointed either. My other still works as well. Even after sending it through the washer machine accidentally. Its just the back up to this now."

Happy Customer

"When I first picked this earpiece up I was excited, only to be frustrated 2x after a weeks use for each earpiece. Amanda was by far the Glue that kept me a N-Ear family member. She was extremely Patient and helpful in trying to find me a solution to my problem. After several back and forth messages (all positive) Amanda helped me get a new mic and another earpiece and finally I was able to enjoy and experience the N-ear like it was meant to be used. I could not be happier with the new mic. Needless to say Amanda was my hero and was super patient. I'm beyond grateful for her and the level of service she provided for me."

— Jason K. (5/5)

Decent

"More comfortable than other ear pieces but doesn't sound as good. If it had some type of attenuator, it would be better. Some radio transmissions are too loud or too quiet. A way to "normalize" or compress transmissions would make this 5 star."

— Greg C. (4/5)

Never thought I’d spend as much on an earpiece.

"Can’t hear or understand the shoulder mike at crowded events. Also don’t like the public hearing both sides of LE conversations. Got tired of water droplets blocking the audio tubes on regular earpieces, so finally spent the $$. The N-ear is very clear, broad volume range, doesn’t block awareness and always works. So far well worth the purchase price."

— Cameron B. (5/5)

Love it!

"Absolutely love this earpiece! Covert with amazing sound and comfort! This was a warranty replacement. The representative that I have dealt with, Scott Rees, was awesome! Offered suggestions for the issue I was having, and when that didn’t fix the problem they replaced the earpiece. I had my new one in 2 days! Great product and a great company!"
