The N-ear 360® Flexo Dynamic Earpiece features a dynamic speaker with a flexible, ambidextrous design for a snug, secure fit. Its flexible bend allows effortless switching between the left and right ears. The slightly enlarged dynamic speaker delivers a robust audio profile with natural, warm tones and strong bass response, while the open-end tip reduces ear fatigue and provides 360° situational awareness.

N•ear’s Braided Fiber Cloth® cords excel in durability, flexibility, and tensile strength. Tailored for various vest setups, it rests comfortably on clothing, ensuring a tangle-free experience. The Braided Fiber Cloth® cord also boasts 90 lbs. of pull strength.

This earpiece comes with 1 Open Eartip, 1 Double Flange Eartip, 1 Black Metal Clip, and 8 Earwax Filters.

Connectivity

  • To Speaker Mics - plug the N•ear 360™ earpiece directly into the audio port of the speaker mic. 
  • To Existing Earpiece Kits - users will require an adapter, refer to the 'Converting Is Easy' chart below. 
  • To Radio - users must select one of the available Push-To-Talk (PTT) options. Options include the Choice™ PTT, as well as traditional or two-wire PTT options. Each PTT comes with a connector tailored for a specific radio model. To specify the required PTT and connector based on the radio model, refer to the available options here.

What is the difference between our N•ear 360® earpieces?

12 Inch

The 12-inch cable emerges as the ideal choice for law enforcement officers who opt not to wear a Molly vest with a single side setup (Left earpiece, left speaker mic, or right earpiece, right speaker mic). If you prefer a high chest or open chest position for your PTT microphone with a single side setup, this is your best option. See the 22 inch option if you are using your PTT on one side and earpiece on the other.

22 Inch

The 22-inch cable stands out as the preferred choice for law enforcement officers who rely on a Molly vest and require additional slack for strategic cable positioning. Tailored to the specific needs of officers wearing Molly vests, this cable length ensures the flexibility necessary for optimal placement of communication devices.

May only last a year

"Good sound but quality is iffy. Had mine for a year and the plastic tubing is completely destroyed, not sure how much longer it will last. For over $100 I would think it would last longer. Plastic clip broke about 7 months in and it is crazy how much a replacement is with shipping. If you do buy, get the medium to longer length unless mic is on your shoulder. Also at low volume on the radio the earpiece is quite loud and you will get the echo effect if you use a car radio. Very comfortable but if I have to buy a new one every year, I am not sold."

Delamination

"Best ear piece on the market. Been in a few fights and chases and never had an issue with it coming out. Sound quality is excellent. Just one point of concern. I’ve had 4 of these now and every time, the product fails at the wire. The plastic sheath begins to delaminate and the wire loses its shape and just becomes a string. At that point, I usually replace. The product for me, last about 8-12 months before delaminating and that’s with regular cleaning they suggest. Other than that it is a great product."

"The part that goes into your ear is bigger than before which makes it hard to hear outside of your ear piece. The wire is much stiffer and the coil portion doesn’t stretch very easily so it constantly tugs at my ear rather than stretching when I turn my head. I wouldn’t buy this one again."

"As far as clarity and comfort 10 out of 10. But they didn’t even last a year for 150 bucks. The wire will fry on you and they will not repair it because it falls under care and maintenance."

Love it, sad it’s gonna be last one

"Love my N-ear earpiece, 1000x better than any other coiled acoustic tube out there. Smaller, lighter, more inconspicuous, better sound, better ambient hearing, etc. Sadly, with the change in the 2.5mm plug from TRS to TRRS, this leaves those of us stuck with Harris mics in the wind with the only option to purchase a different PTT and then get a 3.5mm earpiece."
